I design homes that get used

I started in retail interiors, designing spaces built to be walked through rather than lived in. It taught me a lot about how people move through a room and almost nothing about what happens when they stay in it.

Six years ago I moved to residential work and had to unlearn a fair bit. The most useful thing I learned was to ask better questions. Not "what style do you like" but "where does the post end up" and "who sits where when everyone is in".

Those answers change a design more than any mood board.

Practical before pretty. If the layout is wrong, no amount of good fabric will save it. We fix the bones first.

Honest about budget. If what you want costs more than you have, I will tell you at the first call and we will find the version that works. I would rather lose the project than deliver a disappointing one.

Secondhand wherever it is better. Which is often. It is usually cheaper, generally better made, and it stops a room looking like a single shopping trip.

Your house, your name on it. I have preferences. They are not the brief. The rooms should look like the people in them.

My presence on a wedding day is gentle and reassuring. I don’t rush, I don’t intrude, and I don’t treat your celebration like a photoshoot. Instead, I guide you with subtle direction when you need it, then step back when the moment belongs solely to you.

What Matters Most to You Matters Deeply to Me

When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll likely find me wandering through European gardens, studying light in new cities, collecting old film cameras, or savoring slow mornings with a good coffee. I draw inspiration from architecture, nature, movement, and human emotion, all of which quietly shape the work I create.

These moments away from the lens keep my perspective fresh, my creativity alive, and my storytelling grounded in sincerity.
